
Cinésprit
The Spirit Cinéclub
Cinesprit is a fictitious film club located in Brussels, Belgium. It specializes in showing films about spirits, ghosts, shamans and witches. To give this cinéclub the visibility it deserves, I'm creating a new visual identity for it: the new image needs to reflect the club's activities as clearly as possible.

Brief and challenge
GOALS
Create an original, impactful visual identity that is relevant to the theme;
Produce a logo, five posters and a program.
CHALLENGE
The theme of spirits has already been widely explored: I needed to find a modern solution that wasn't too first-degree, allowing me to create a universe that was both strange and magical.
Creative process
02. COLORS AND TYPOGRAPHY
For the colors, I chose a fairly acidic, high-impact palette, with sharp contrasts that accentuate the weirdness of the visuals. The typeface family chosen evokes the world of magic and the ancient.

01. LOGOTYPE
For the logo, I had the idea of creating a polymorphic logo that varies according to the themes it addresses. I like the strangeness this personalization creates.
So we have a different logo for each cycle: ghosts, shamans, witches and found footage.


Graphics applications
01. POSTERS
One thing led to another, and the world of spirits led me to the world of shadows, and then to that of counter-forms. An image that reveals another seems to me an interesting concept for dealing with the spiritual.

Result
With Cinésprit, I was able to develop a visual identity for the cultural sector, which taught me a lot about color management and web interface creation.
